Simon-James Rivers, along with his sister Diana, saves Jane from being mugged and gives her a place to stay.

 

Inspired by his adoptive parent's who were also doctors, Simon is a resident at the local hospital at only 24 years old, having skipped a few grades. 

 

His passion for medicine makes him a charasmatic speaker. He is also very hard working, and highly intelligent though his sisters often point out that he could stand to loosen up a bit.

 

He was adopted, as his parents were originally under the impression that they could not concieve children of their own. In the time it took for the process to go through, they gave birth to Diana and Mary. Elated with the thought of another child they decided to go through with the adaption of their son.
