Blanche Ingram is a Canadian model and public relations executive with French origins.

Ms. Ingram has transformed a first runner-up result in the Miss Canada pageant into a chance to establish strong media ties and brand relationships. A native of Toronto, Canada, she speaks eight languages fluently (English, Russian, Mandarian, German, Dutch, Japanese, Spanish and French) and holds a degree in Business from Harvard University. 

 

Blanche began modeling at the age of 12, and gained notoriety as a young beauty in her hometown. Her first runner-up place showing in the Miss Canada stirred a national controversy, and the Miss Canada organization took the unprecedented step of offering Ingram an appearance contract similar to that of the winner. Blanche was named by the press as the #1 “most eligible single woman in Canada” and labelled as having the “Best Bikini Body” while gracing the covers of magazines like WAT or Shelly. She is represented by Capital Model Management and after earning her business degree Blanche continued her studies with a degree in acting at the Toronto Film Academy. Miss Ingram also is a trained dancer. Her credits involve a staring role in the 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in Vancouver.

 

Blanche began to work as an actress in commercials and music videos in 2007, and is remembered in one of her early spots for the England and Canadian watch brand Casidy-Fanatico. She is often seen shopping with Charlize Theron.

 

While she is actively involved in a variety of causes. She is especially vocal about women's issues. Openly referring to herself as a feminist, Blanche has made apoint to participate in SlutWalk every year and has a strict policy with her modeling agency to never photoshop her weight. She also left an advertising firm for refusing equal pay. As a result Blanche funds a scholarship program for innovative women. 

May 2010 saw release of a music video with the Spanish music artist Javier Lopez . It was Ingram’s first video to be produced and released in Spain and to hit 2 million views. She has also appeared in a guest role on the popular network series, "Vampyre" (2011).

 

An occasional presenter for Fashion TV, in October 2011 Blanche hosted Miss Canada pageant live on the 3 national channels. In March 2012 Blanche started to host her own TV show about successful Canadian Ad firms called “Canadian Running”, on CBC, and APTN.

 

She has hosted Miss France 2012 with the Dutch comedians Najib Amhali and Jenny Arean. The show was a hit with more than 5 million views and a 20% share on the channel TF1. 

 

Blanche used to work as a corporate finance lawyer for Bill Funds and Investment Inc.

She has interned at a variety of different advertising institutions, such as Multi-Firm, Danton Stock, and Complex Ad. Working as a luxury reporter for the US magazine Chic Living, she also writes a monthly advice column in the French magazine Pompalamoose. Blanche is known for her hands-on approach in managing her own brand- and media-relationships. She is founder and CEO of Ingram Consulting Ltd.

 

She is also the spokesmodel for numerous brands, including: Blitz Luxuary, Visablend Sunglasses, Europe glass, Nillson and Renon cosmetics. 

Based between London, Toronto and the USA, she travels the globe constantly while pursuing her own branding business, as well as her modelling. In addition, Blanche is the spokesperson and designer her own line of vodka, Avdotya. 

 

In addition to her professional career Blanche is fond of swimming, snowboarding, archery and surfing.
